Tattoo Designs Uniquely Your Own

Tattoos are an art form that has been passed down throughout human history. They all vary in meaning and design. Tattoos have peaked in our era so much so that it ís difficult to find a tattoo with a meaning and design that is unique. So – why not design your own tattoo? With that being said one should put a decent amount of thought into this lifetime commitment. Some tattoo artists often suggest taking a basic picture and adding details pertaining to yourself, therefore encouraging you to design your own tattoo.

People get tattoos for many different reasons; the most basic design could have a very complex meaning. A tattoo can be a tribute to an idol or loved one, a reminder of an event, a religious symbol, a favorite character, or anything that you wish to carry with you forever. The “what” and “why” of your design is just the first part. You must also decide where you want to wear it, then design your own tattoo accordingly.

The All Important Decision of Where to Place Tattoo Designs

Before a tattoo artist draws your artwork, they will always ask where you want it placed and if you would like to design your own tattoo. Those who have never been tattooed may not believe this to be relevant. However, certain tattoos are not appropriate for just anywhere on your body, yet some do have that universal quality.

A person who has a certain occupation may have to be tattooed on a place that is coverable, whereas some free souls do not have to consider that. The size, color, shape, and message of the tattoo should be taken into consideration. If you design your own tattoo, you are free to think of colors and size which match your personality.

There are many ways to design your own tattoo. One of the most popular ways is to design it online. Is it necessary to design your tattoo yourself you might be asking? The answer is that it is not necessary but, if you don’t put in the effort to design your tattoo yourself, you might bump into people who are wearing the same or a similar tattoo as you. The tattoo shops have a limited collection to choose from. Remember that the tattoo will remain on your body forever and, if you want it to be uniquely your own, you need to design it yourself.

How Tattoo Designs Can be Made Unique

How can you design your own tattoo? One way is to take several bits and pieces from other designs and put them together. The web has a plethora of designs. It provides an enormous database and a quick hunt on the internet will divulge enough tattoo designs within a few minutes. When you get your own tattoo it is normal to be scared, especially if it is your first. Do not believe what others may have said – it does hurt.

Getting a tattoo is literally getting stuck with a needle numerous times. Yes after a few minutes the pain is not unbearable, but you will feel it. This explanation is not to intimidate you, but it is to inform you so you know what to expect when getting your own tattoo. At times people do utilize the process of getting tattooed as a coping mechanism. So you design your own tattoo that is small yet exhibit a compelling meaning.

On the contrary it is true when people tell you that tattoos are addicting. If you have already gotten your own tattoo, then you are fully aware of this. When you go to the tattoo parlor to get a new design on your body, unfortunately you are not shown many options. You are compelled to design your own tattoo so that you showcase a distinctive art. Basically the bottom line is that if you love to have tattoos on your body – design your own tattoo!

Miami Ink tattoos The Fascinating Reality TV Show

Tattoos have become a way of expressing the changes that a person goes through or even gaining an insight into their lives. Earlier, tattoos were seen only on gangsters and were disregarded among the civic community. However, as the years went by people became more individualistic and expressed their opinions freely. One such form of expression that became prevalent was tattooing. To cash in on an opportunity like this, the Learning Channel started to air a show known as Miami Ink which was a reality Television show based on the work and life of 5 tattoo artists. Miami Ink and the Miami Ink tattoos became so popular that it is in its 4th season now and is being aired around the world on various television channels. The Miami Ink tattoos represent the admiration and feelings of the shop artists.

The Miami Ink studio is located on Washington Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida. The most fascinating part of the art work done on each client is that the artists delve into the reason for their clients in getting tattoos and each persons reason is more compelling than the other one. This show was first aired in July 2005 and the duration is for half hour once a week. The show is co-owned by tattoo artists Ami James and Chris Nunez, both of whom have a wide experience in the art of tattoos and who have popularized the Miami Ink tattoos.

The main intention behind this show was to frame the popularity of Miami Ink tattoos and also to go behind the scenes and delve into the conscious of the tattoo artists, see how they operate and live and also learn from each other to better their skills. Initially, while writing about the show, the co-owners did not anticipate its success and did not imagine that it would be broadcast all around the world and people would come out of their closets and accept the show with admiration.

All the artists on the show bring a bundle of talent and myriad of ideas which motivates people in Miami Ink tattoos done from them. The artists who are on the show presently include Ami James, 33 year old ex-member of the Israeli army, who started tattooing from his house at the age of 20 and now has 40 tattoos on his body. Chris Nunez, who is an avid traveler and former construction worker, is also the co-owner of the studio. Darren Brass who is formerly from Pittsburgh came to Miami Ink to fire-up his inherent love for tattooing and is a trained artist now. Formerly from Japan Yoji Harada, is learning the art of tattooing and is also in a rock band. Besides these artists, there was another artist called Kat Von who is not with Miami Ink anymore and has her own show called LA Ink, which is very much like Miami Ink.

Each of the Miami Ink tattoos has its own charm and personality and is very personal to the bearer as they have a narrative to back the reason for getting a tattoo. The events that lead to a person getting a tattoo is sometimes very nerve wracking. The artists help people overcome their grief by listening to their reasons for getting a tattoo done and also relating to them thereby making people very comfortable at the studio and making the pain bearable. The artists discuss the tattoo with their client before finalizing it.

At Miami Ink, the artists create the simplest to most intrinsic Miami Ink tattoos on their clients who range from home makers, celebrities, and sportspersons to blue collared executives. The tattoos that are done on the show are varied and can range from anything like a flower to portraits and full body tattoos.

Miami Ink used to invite applications from potential clients who wished to be aired on television and get their Miami Ink tattoos done. Also, the show ran a competition for aspiring artists to work at Miami Ink in which applications would be called for from all around the USA and the artists would send samples of their work across.

The popularity of the Miami Ink tattoos series also gave rise to various other shows on a similar concept. Some of them are LA Ink, and London Ink which were actually having former Miami Ink artists showcasing their skills. Thus, we can say that Miami Ink gave rise to a new boom in the reality television shows and also made Miami Ink tattoos very popular.
